Format Features In More Detail

Experience our neighborhood-focused league structure, where 10 dedicated teams from different subdivisions compete for community pride in a casual, social environment.
  • Pure Neighborhood Play: All matches feature players representing their own neighborhood subdivision. To preserve local community identity and rivalries, players are not mixed across different neighborhoods.
  • Skill Level Lock: Play is fixed exclusively at the USTA 3.0 - 3.5 level to ensure balanced, fun, and high-energy rallies.
  • Player Ratings: Unrated players must attend a rating session with a tennis pro to confirm their skill level matches the USTA 3.0 - 3.5 level.
  • Roster & Player Caps: Each team must have a minimum of 8 players. A player cannot be officially added to a team roster until their club dues are paid. Each team will be assigned an official team number.
  • Team Captain Designation & Duties: Every team must designate one official Team Captain before the season begins. Serving as the primary liaison for the league, the Captain is responsible for managing rosters, organizing lineup cards, coordinating match logistics, and handling rainout communications directly with opposing captains. Additionally, Home Captains hold official access credentials to the private Member Clubhouse Portal Captain's Page to submit final match scores and game tallies. All Captains must secure 4 courts at their home venue in order to partcipate in the leauge.
  • All teams need to Appoint A Team Co-Captain.
  • Co-Captain Designation & Duties: To assist with match night logistics, teams are strongly encouraged to designate a non-playing Co-Captain to act as the official match timekeeper. This individual is responsible for managing a centralized clock for all four courts, issuing standard time warnings, and officially calling the end of the matches so that the active Team Captain can focus entirely on playing.
  • Match Schedule & Times: Regular women's matches are played on Wednesday nights starting promptly at 6:00 p.m. with men's matches played on Thursday nights starting at 6:00 p.m.
  • Weather & Rainouts: If the weather is in question, matches must be called by the Home Captain at least one and a half hours before match time. The Home Captain must call the Away Captain to officially call off the match and inform the teams.
  • Makeup Matches: Makeup matches must take place exactly one week after the regularly scheduled match. The specific time and date must be mutually agreed upon by both Captains. The Home Captain is responsible for setting the makeup match, and both Captains must report their player tallies.
  • Score Reporting: Captains must submit the total team match score along with the individual games won/lost by each player via the private Member Clubhouse Portal on the website by midnight on the day of the match. Individual player tallies are critical for breaking tiebreakers in the final round-robin standings.
  • Captains Page Access: To maintain league integrity and streamline administration, the specialized Captains Page within the Member Clubhouse Portal is strictly restricted. Only official, designated Neighborhood Captains will be granted access credentials to view lineup cards, score sheets, and submission forms. Only the Home Captains can submit scores.
  • Court Requirements: Participating neighborhoods must be able to provide at least four (4) dedicated courts on Wednesday nights to host club play.
  • Team Schedules: All official match schedules are posted online and can be accessed through the private Member Clubhouse portal on the Captains' Page. Home Captains must secure at least eight players to make a team, and players can not be added unless they have paid their dues. It is advised to have at least two sub players for your team.
  • End-of-Season Playoffs: Each of our 4 regular seasons concludes at Week 9. The top 2 performing neighborhoods on the leaderboard advance to a season championship playoff match, alongside a league-wide food and beverage social table where we award team plaques and crown the Season MVP.
  • The Year-End Grand Finale: At the end of the year, the 4 Seasonal Champions face off in a final 4-team tournament bracket for the ultimate Neighborhood Cup, followed by our year-end member-only Awards Gala. Note: If a neighborhood wins a season playoff match but has already locked up a spot in the Grand Finale from a previous season, their Grand Finale bid automatically passes down to the runner-up of that specific season's playoff match.
